SANDALWOOD GROWERS CO-OP LTD
Dear Fellow Growers,
Court Case
Our lawyers have advised us that they expect a decision imminently from the Supreme Court regarding the Receivers application to deny growers any interest in the trees that were previously part of the Quintis MIS Schemes. The SGC opposed this application on behalf of growers and submitted to the Court that the trees still belong to the growers. As soon as this decision is delivered by the Court we will advise growers.
Again thank you to all growers who contributed to making this legal case possible.
Land Owners
The SGC has written to land owners who previously leased land to the Quintis MIS scheme plantations putting them on notice that until the Court decision is delivered no trees should be harvested sold or otherwise dealt with.
Directors
We wish to advise that Mr Kenn Williams has resigned as director. We would like to thank Kenn for his efforts particularly in relation to assisting the SGC bring it’s accounting and secretarial records up to date. Mr Giang Ho has been appointed as director to assist Graeme Scott and Barry Thompson as continuing directors.
